At Grace Lutheran Church, we are committed to helping people find and follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Here’s what to expect when visiting our church this Sunday!
Come as you are
While many churches encourage wearing a suit and tie to the service every week, this is not the case here. Upon arriving, you’ll notice that most congregants dress business casual – this could be a button-down shirt or knee-length dress. This is by no means a requirement to hear the gospel though! Whether you’d prefer to wear a suit and tie or jeans and a T-shirt, we would love for you to come as you are!
Closed communion
At Grace, we practice closed communion in accordance with 1 Cor 11:29. This means that we will only allow those who have been baptized and confirmed within the LCMS or its partner churches to commune during the service. If this is not you, don’t fret! Our Pastor does confirmation classes for all ages. Feel free to ask him after the conclusion of the service. In the meantime, please come up during communion for a blessing. You may indicate this by crossing your arms at the communion rail.
