It happens to all of us. You’re drifting off to sleep, mowing the lawn, or pondering a long list of emails needing replies. Then it hits you: “Which prophet in the Old Testament proclaimed that Jereboam II, King of Israel, would recover all the territory lost to Ben-Hadad III, King of Syria?”
Ok, maybe that’s a little obscure. (It was the prophet Jonah, mentioned in 2 Kings 14:25.)
Ask the Pastor is your opportunity to ask whatever is on your theological mind and receive a thoughtful answer. Some posts will be short. Some will be long. All will be rooted in Scripture and will provide source texts.
Your question can be short or long, personal or general, narrow or broad. Ask away! Ultimately, everything is about theology.
To help you get started, here are a few ideas:
- What do you want to know about Christianity?
- What have you read in the Bible that was a little hard to understand?
- What did you hear in a sermon or conversation that made you wonder?
- What do you wish you could explain to others about Christian faith?
- What does the Bible say about a current issue/event?
Your questions are important. You deserve answers. Submit your questions through our website, for consideration. Similar questions will be grouped together. Some questions from ministry IRL (in real life) will be answered here, as well.
Thanks in advance! The Lord be with you!
